How to Order About Us
Rustic Garden Tower at the 2005 Chelsea Garden Show, London. The garden was designed by Kate Frey, professional horticulturalist for Valley Oaks of Mendocino County, California. The Rustic Tower and garden won a Gold Medal at the renowned garden show. The tower itself was designed and built by Ben Frey in Mendocino County, California, then disassembled for transport to England in a container, whereupon it was reassembled with the added use of local stones and other materials.
Rustic Vineyard Tower at Frey Vineyards, Calif.  This tower is Ben’s prototype, built in 1998 on top of an irrigation valve.  The valve is easily accessible through the tower’s door. The tower is located at the corner of a vineyard – a perfect vantage to view the vines from atop the tower, while seated under the shaded roof.  The towers can hide otherwise exposed irrigation and frost-protection valves or filtration systems and enhance the overall beauty of your estate. They can also be built wherever desired for prime viewing of your estate, or strategically located as a shaded resting place with a view.
Rustic Pump House Towers at Frey Vineyards.  Ben’s rustic pump house towers are designed for their simplicity, elegance, and utility: the beautiful stone walls absorb much of the roar of the running pump as well as conceal the awkward array of pipes and motors.  If the pump or irrigation valve is located where there are limited views, an alternative tower design can be built which lacks the viewing deck.
Rustic Furniture & Accessories. Ben also makes rustic furniture using available local used lumber or driftwood, and other materials. Some of the furniture is for sale now at RussianRiverRustics.com!
